Why is death benefit insurance a good solution?
As the death benefit has been removed from the statutory health insurance benefits catalog since 2004, independent protection of funeral services has become important for everyone today.

In cooperation with the Nürnberger Versicherung, the board of trustees offers death benefit insurance or insurance as a funeral insurance package with the following advantages:

  • no health check
  • Admission up to the age of 80
  • favorable contributions through group insurance contract
  • immediate insurance coverage is provided in the event of accidental death
  • 3-year exclusion period for suicide (therefore a death certificate is required within the first three years)
  • in the event of death within the first 18 months, the following graduation takes place:

1st - 6th month: repayment of the contributions paid
7th - 12th month: 25% of the sum insured
13th - 15th month: 50% of the sum insured
16th - 18th month: 75% of the sum insured

  • Full insurance coverage after 18 months, ie sum insured plus pro rata profit sharing
  • limited contribution payment period of 25 years or up to the age of 85.
  • Sum insured variable from EUR 2,500 to EUR 12,500
  • Monthly, annual or single premium payments * are possible
*) In the case of a one-off payment, the paid premium will be refunded within the first 6 months, after 6 months the full insurance sum will be paid due in the event of death.
